Avoid oxidizers. Vigorous reaction with bromine trifluoride. Lead oxide mixed with tungsten becomes incandescent upon heating. Tungsten becomes incandescent in cold fluorine. Iodine pentafluoride reacts spontaneously with tungsten with incandescence.
